MCLA Notes: February 25, 2014

From time to time during the season, Peter Tumbas will be checking in with MCLA Notes posts where he breaks down some of the story lines worth spreading in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association.

Fullerton’s Paul Morgan to play for Mexico in World Championships

The lacrosse world will turn it’s eyes to Denver this summer, when national teams from 38 countries descend on the Rockies for the FIL World Lacrosse Championships. Sharing the field with guys like Paul Rabil, Ned Crotty and Max Seibald will be a somewhat less familiar name, unless you follow the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference’s Division II.

MGLT Finals Video: One Muddy Lacrosse Game

FULL Championship Game Video!!!! The Salt Shakerz made it back to the Finals of the Mardi Gras Lacrosse Tournament, trying to win their third straight title in NOLA. In The Dawg House: New Determination

Boy it’s good to be back in the south. After being the punching bag for UCSB and Cal Poly the previous weekend out west, the Dawgs returned home for a couple of SELC games this past weekend.

Music Monday: A Storm of Music

This Monday I’m bringing you a ton of new music. Let me say (type) that again, I’m bringing you TONS of new music! I know plenty of you have been dumped on with snow but I’m sending a flurry or music your way. Since there’s plenty to listen to, I’ll get straight to it:

College Lacrosse Video Explosion

Another great weekend of college lacrosse is in the books and some pretty superb video is already hitting the internet for many of these games. Gone are the days of reading score lines on the back page of USA Today… it’s the future. Take it to the house.

Music Monday: Laid Back Lions

I hope everyone across the LAS universe, near and far, is having a wonderful Monday and enjoyed a solid weekend of lax. Here in the states, it seems like just about everyone is hitting a bout of bad weather. That being said, today’s featured album is one with which you can kick back and relax tonight as the storms howl away outside.
