Don’t Limit Opportunity

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! [groups_non_member group=”Insider”][/groups_non_member] [groups_member group=”Insider”] This morning, I spent time looking at a math problem that someone posted on Facebook. It was a “new” method of solving what was a very simple equation for probably most people above 3rd grade. The FIL 2014 World Lacrosse Championships are only a Spring season away, and we’re all extremely excited. National teams around the world are preparing to make the trip to Colorado for two weeks (or more in some cases) in July, and that means a lot of training camps, scrimmages, and quite a bit of fundraising!

Is Salisbury BACK?

Last year SU went 17-6 (man, that’s a lot of games!) and lost to Stevenson in the NCAAs 12-6. Stevenson went on to win it all, and all of a sudden, people were talking about a new King of the South. But now, Salisbury releases a video on Vimeo titled We Are Salisbury, and it has to have you thinking that last year was an aberration. The guys at Salisbury are clearly ready to roll.

Just A Flesh Wound

GREAT Monday morning, ladies and gentlemen! [groups_non_member group=”Insider”][/groups_non_member] [groups_member group=”Insider”] One of my favorite characters of all time is the Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. “Why” you ask? Because he’s unbelievably confident and unrelenting. In an effort to deny King Authur access to the bridge he needs to cross, the knight ends up in a sword fight in which he loses both arms and both legs. After losing his first arm he says, “tis but a scratch… I’ve had worse,” and continues… Read More »

But a deeper benefit to watching the game is learning the game, and players, coaches, and even refs can all learn a thing or two by watching a lot of lacrosse on TV.
